About Us.....

Ardoch Development Trust aims to inspire our community to come together to achieve long term healh and vitality for the people of the area. The organisation was formally incorporated on February 26 2007 as a company limited by guarantee and achieved charitable status in 2008.

The Trust covers the same geographical area as Braco and greenloaning Community Council (table of postcodes covered at the bottom of the page).

A Board drawn from ADT member is elected each year at the AGM and any member is able to stand for election to the Board.  Furthermore, The Board is responsible to ADT members, in law, for the proper conduct of its business. Annual audited accounts and an annual report have to be produced like any other company.  Latest report and accounts can be downloaded from the Documents page.

Since starting up, we have developed links with other community groups.  If you have a group or a good idea that is in need of help or development then you can approach ADT. Our role is to support you as well as develop projects of our own.

As a company with charitable status, we are well place to obtained grants from public, private and charitable organisations and of equal importance, we are free to raise funds through enterprising projects that are of benefit to the community.
