Brina in Braco

Jamaican Singer at Braco Hall Saturday November 13.

Saturday November 13 is a date that reggae, roots and World Music fans need to get in the diary.  Jamaican vocalist, Brina, will be performing live and unplugged at Braco Village Hall and the combination of her excellent voice and big personality will guarantee the audience a very special evening’s entertainment.

Only in the country a matter of weeks, Brina captivated and enchanted those lucky enough to be at Braco’s Real Ale and Music Fest in August when she sang some reggae classics during an extended open mic slot.  Such was the impression she made at the event, that we felt that we had to have her back for a full gig.

Although new to the UK, Brina is certainly no novice on the stage.  She is steeped in the music and rhythms of Jamaican culture and she has been performing in her native <placew:ston>Caribbean from an early age.  In 2009 she spent almost a year writing and recording with some of Jamaica’s finest and most influential musicians such as such as Jubba White from Dubtonic Kru , the legendary Sly Dunbar, Rupert Bent Jr, Omar Francis and Michael ‘Ibo’ Cooper (co founder of Third World), to name only a few.

For more information on Brina please visit: www.brinasings.com that provides everything you could want to know about her, including Bio, photos, live performance videos, and pre-release snippets of songs from the upcoming album, there are also links to Brina’s Facebook, Myspace, Reverb Nation and Blog sites.

Doors Open 7.30PM.  Tickets are £8 and available from: 07802191741  and contact@ardochtrust.org.uk
